This is the nearby river Sati (or something like that). I went there yesterday with some other interns and an Indian friend. We got a ride on the "Stocherkahn" and enjoyed the tranquility.
That scene looks really nice with the palm trees and all that, I'd really like to be there and go for a swim now :-) How warm is the water, and is it actually save to swim there, or is is full of little bugs eager to kill you?
Some of us went swimming there. The water is nicely warm and it's safe. The sea is also warm, but not safe for swimming because of strong currents. The monsoon is almost over, and around noon the sun burns from the zenith. I really enjoy it ;)
