Heading for India, again

Tomorrow I will start the second part of my "Indian Experience". I will leave Manipal and start traveling around for about three weeks in India and then another three weeks in Nepal. As I did three month ago, I feel like heading for the unknown again. I'm excited and a bit scared, but it's ok, and I think it's what I wanted.

Right now I'm sitting in the computer lab, writing my blog, for the last time. I'm nostalgic. I just counted and found 32 blog entries, that I posted here during my time. I'm not sure if you read all of those, but I know that some people did, and that's very nice for me. (thanks for listening!) Also it's a kind of self-help. Writing about my experiences and feelings help me to reflect on the same.

I'm not exactly sure how I will spent my during the next weeks. Most likely I won't have internet access on a daily basis, so my updates might become a less frequent.

  • Tomorrow I will head towards Madikeri, which is in some mountainous region in Southern Karnataka, and just 7h away from here.
  • On the 10th I will meet my brother in Mumbai and we'll travel the deserts of Gujarat in North-West India.
  • On the 25th I will take a flight from Mumbai to Lucknow from there cross the Nepali boarder a few days later.
  • I will return to Germany on December 18th.

I was thinking to give some summarizing statement about my the first stage of my trip. However I don't feel capable of giving any evaluation of it. It's been to confusing. Looking back I realize that I was quite unhappy for the last two weeks or so. Except for that? I don't know. I'll try to make a nice article once I came up with something. For now, all I can say is, that there really is a huge cultural difference between Germany and India!
