Holiday at Om-Beach // thoughts

Hey,
as announced earlier I spent the last week end at Om-Beach, near Gokarna. It's one of those tourist places. Some Indian tourists, a lot of Israeli backpackers and of course the usual European and American hippies.

It's my last week here. There was a holiday on Monday. I was sick (digestive issues) again on Tuesday, and now I feel quite in a rush to get my things done here at the university, so I can leave on Saturday.

I talked to a good friend few days ago, and after I told a bit about how I'm doing she said "you sound quite annoyed". And even though I felt it before, it was kind of a revelation. I'm not sure why, but I've been quite bored and frustrated the last weeks. I assume it has a lot to do with "the culture" and the difficulties I have getting into the Indian culture. I hope that things will become more clear after some time, when I have some distance to the events.
Given those feelings I look forward to leaving Manipal and the University and start my travels. I seesaw between being afraid and being excited.

Here's a video from the week end. I was sick already and mentally a little slow. I think that's why I talk about showing the restaurant and then don't show it. Well, it'd be right behind me.

I miss home.
cheers!
