why? frustration & bad mentoring

Lately I've been a little frustrated about my work. Just for the reason that nobody seems to care about it. So I decided to do the same, and in the last weeks spent most of my "work time" surfing the internet.

Yesterday my supervising professor came to talk with me about my project. She actually showed some interest and gave me some advise. That was quite nice, but after our very brief discussion in my first week, it was the first time she talked to me. And now that I finished all my work, the discussion doesn't make much sense anyways.
She also told me that I'm supposed to give a presentation about my project next week, and submit a written report.
I'm angry and I ask myself WHY THE FUCK! Why didn't they tell me about the presentation in the beginning? Why do we only talk about my work after I finished? I just don't understand it.

don't take it personally, I'm sure they treat all interns like this. which practically means that THEY suck! you'll have just one more week at the university, make the best out of it you can and just hang in there. i bet later on, you'll be happy about having had the experience to do some "work" at an Indian university and you'll forget about the annoying things that came with it. i wish you a fantastic weekend at the beach. sunniest greetings (it's actually very foggy and cold here) anyway, sunniest greetings Steffi
